Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
We respect your privacy and keep this simple. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Joe Bracken Productions ("we", "us") is a sole trader based in Coventry, UK. You can contact us at enquiries@joebrackenproductions.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- your name, email address and organisation
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- what you are interested in, and anything you tell us in your message
We also keep any emails or messages you send us directly. Like most websites, our hosting platform may record basic technical information about visits, such as your device type and which pages are viewed.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, talk to you about your project and, if you go ahead, deliver the work. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Our legal reason is that you asked us to get in touch, and we need your details to respond and to take steps towards working together. We also have a legitimate interest in running our business.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the services that help us run the website and handle enquiries:
- Formgrid, which receives your form submission and passes it to us by email
- Google, our email provider, where we receive and store enquiries
- Squarespace, which hosts this website
Some of these services are based outside the UK. Where that happens, they rely on the safeguards that the law provides for such transfers. We do not share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
If we do not end up working together, we keep your enquiry for 12 months and then delete it. If we work together, we keep the records we need to deliver the work and meet our legal and accounting duties.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop using your information in a particular way
Just email us and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
We do not use cookies to track you or for advertising. Our website platform (Squarespace) may set essential cookies that the site needs in order to work and stay secure.
Film and photography
This policy covers information collected through this website. When we film or photograph people for a client, we agree with that client how permission from the people involved is handled.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
