Questions parishes ask
Who owns the website and domain?
You do, where it matters. Your domain name is registered in the parish's name, and everything you send us (text, bulletins, photos) stays yours. Any video or photos we make for you are free to use on your website and social media for as long as you like. We look after the site itself as part of your package.
Is there a minimum contract?
Packages start with a 12-month term. After that it carries on month to month, and you can stop at any time with 30 days' notice and no exit fee.
What if we want to leave?
Just send us an email. After the first 12 months there's nothing extra to pay. If you leave sooner, the remaining months of the first year are still due. Either way, we hand over your content and your domain within 14 days, free of charge. After you leave, you'd cover the running costs of the site yourselves, such as hosting and your domain name renewal.
We already have a website. Can you take it over?
Yes. Tell us what you have now and we'll bring across the content that's still useful, so you aren't starting from scratch.
What counts as an update?
The weekly bulletin, Mass time changes, new events and notices. Send them over and we publish them within 24 hours. There's no limit on how many you send. New pages are included too, such as First Holy Communion, a fundraiser or a parish event. For bigger projects, like a whole new section of the site, we'll give you a quote first.
Do we need any technical knowledge?
None. We look after the technical side. You just send us what you want published.
